Lois R. Olds, age 93, passed away on March 16, 2022, at Hilltop Assisted Living on Pepper, Wisconsin Rapids. Lois was born on December 23, 1928, to the late William and Irma (Lucas) Peacock in Washington C.H., Ohio. She married William L. Glass who preceded her in death in 1982. She married Vernon Olds who preceded her in death in 2019.
Bill and Lois moved to Wisconsin with their 5 children in 1960 and ran a dairy and grain farm for 20 plus years. Bill and Lois started spending a few winter months each year in Florida until Bill passed in 1982. After Lois’ marriage to Vernon, they lived in Wisconsin a few summer months, and the rest of the year in Florida.
Lois is survived by her children Steven (Elaine) Glass of Columbus, OH, Jade (Charles) Koch of Vesper, Felicia (Alfred I.) Mielke of Nekoosa, William O. (Rene) Glass of Franklin, NC, and Crystal Glass of Marshfield; grandchildren: Jason, Jerry, Michael, Billie Jo, Alfred C., Matthew, Brandi, and Charity; and 5 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 of Vernon’s children and numerous descendants; and sister-in-law Pat Peacock.
Lois was preceded in death by her husbands, William L. Glass and Vernon Olds; her parents, William and Irma Peacock, grandson, Ken and a brother, Arthur Peacock and a sister, Wilma Ashbaugh.
Lois’ family would like to thank the staff at Hilltop on Pepper for all the great care given to Lois these past 3 years.
