Lois Perdue Allison, 86, of 8757 Chatham Road, Martinsville, VA died Monday, December 14, 2009 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville/Henry County. She was born on September 25, 1923 in Henry County, VA to the late Robert E. Hodges and Della Carter Hodges. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank M Perdue; second husband, James O. Allison; a son, Frank W. Perdue; a brother, Edward Hodges and a granddaughter, Dianne Robertson. Mrs. Allison attended Granbery United Methodist Church. She was a graduate of Axton High School and attended Perry Business School. Mrs. Allison worked for Pattersons Drug Store for over 20 years before retiring.
