Lois Miranda, age 92 years of Carver, died Sunday, May 3, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Manuel Miranda Jr., and the daughter of the late Antone and Mary (Almeida) Perry Moniz. Born in Plymouth, she was educated in Plymouth schools. She raised eight children and enjoyed making her home for her family. She was a fine cook and baker and worked beautiful embroidered items for her family. Lois’ greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Lois was the loving mother of Julie Silva of Plymouth, Lydia Colbourne of Florida, the late Manuel Miranda III, Richard Miranda of Plymouth, the late Lois Miranda Higgins, Dennis Miranda formerly of Plymouth, Douglas Miranda of Manomet, and Lauri Miranda of Carver. She also leaves 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and a sister of Dorothy Vacca of
