Lois M. Teeters Thompson, 93, Anderson, died July 2, 2002 at Community Hospital, Anderson after brief illness. She was born November 10, 1908 in Hamilton County, Indiana, and resided in Anderson, Indiana all of her life. She retired in 1972 from Agricultural Soil Conservation Services and had also worked in other Governmental Agencies for 20 years.

She was a 1926 Lapel High School graduate and an Anderson Business College graduate. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Anderson and a member of the Olivet Sunday School Class and Ruth’s Circle at the church. She was a member and Past Matron of Order of Eastern Star Chapter #154 and Bethesda White Shrine of Jerusalem. She was a member of the Past Matron’s Club of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter #154 and the Independent Order of Forresters #1220.

She is survived by her Son: Bruce D. Thompson of Anderson. One Daughter: Kay M. & husband John Purdy of Anderson. Two Grandchildren: Lorraine & husband Bill Chisler of Indianapolis. Rebecca & husband Bill Will of Plainfield. Eight Great Grandchildren: Laura Chisler, Aaron Will, Johnathon Will, Walter Will, Daniel Will, Abigail Will, Eric Will and Adam Will. Several nieces, nephews and in-laws.

She was preceded in death by her Husband: Leonard J. Thompson on April 3, 1987. Parents: Scott H. & Beulah Roudebush Teeters. Three Brothers: James Lawrence Teeters, George Teeters and John Teeters.
