Lois L. Abt, 88, of Willimantic, passed away on December 1, 2016 after a long battle with heart disease.
She was born on June 2, 1928 in Paterson NJ, the daughter of the late Joseph and Linda (Haast) Lambert. Lois is survived by a son, Robert Abt, of Tucson Arizona; a daughter, Linda Abt of Storrs Connecticut; three granddaughters and six great grandchildren.
Lois was an avid reader and shared her love of reading with family and friends. She greeted her great grandchildren with a big smile and the gift of books which nurtured their love of reading. Lois cherished the hours she spent at her favorite bookstore chatting with fellow book lovers.
