Lois Jacobson, 80, of Ladd, formerly of Glen Ellyn, died on Monday morning, March 20, 2017, at Manor Court in Peru. Lois was born on May 1, 1936, in Dubuque, IA to Kenneth and Ellen (Chewning) Tangeman.
She married Gerald Jacobson on April 21, 1979, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Glen Ellyn. She was a school teacher in Michigan for many years and then in Glen Ellyn for 10 years. Lois was a member of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Glen Ellyn.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald, her children, Laura (Gary) Pozzi, of Hinckley, Scott Williams, of Glencoe, and Lisa (Brian Neren) Williams, of Elmhurst, Gerald’s children, Rhonda (Marty) Christiansen, of Weston, WI, and Michael Jacobson and Michael Crowley, of Chicago, 4 grandchildren, Tate and Marlowe Neren and Andrew and Kayla Christiansen, a great-granddaughter, Peyton Christiansen, and a sister, Sally (Don) Tribble, of Pahrump, NV.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
