Lois Evans, age 83 died, peacefully on Saturday March 24, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. She lived in a Memory Care facility in Las Vegas a few miles away from her daughter, Sue Jacoby and her husband, Mike. She also left behind two grandsons; Jason and Scott Jacoby, three granddaughters: Paige, Halee, and Savannah Jacoby, a sister, Enola Gruett, and many nieces and nephews. Lois was married to Paul Evans from Seward, Nebraska. They lived most of their married life in Curtis, Nebraska. She and her husband attended St. John’s Lutheran Church in Seward and Curtis Nebraska. She received her undergraduate degree in education from Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska. She obtained her Master’s degree from Kearney State College in Kearney, Nebraska. She taught school in Staplelhurst, Seward, and Curtis, Nebraska. Lois loved to travel, fish, golf, play bridge, and beat anyone at any game.
