Evelyn married Carl D. Morris and then later Charles H. Giles Sr. in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 1985. Mrs. Giles had worked as a machine operator for Muncie Novelty for approximately 20 years and retired in the early 1980’s.
Survivors include three sons, Carl “Sonny” Morris (wife-Joyce), Muncie, Charles “Chuck” H. Giles Jr. (wife-Brenda), Indianapolis and Gary Giles, Muncie; 15 grandchildren (BreeAnna, Heather, Robbie, Denny, Torina, Georgie, Chrissie, Dickie, Chris, Kip, Kim, Mark, Ed, Sherry, Kimberly, Walter and Charla; 20 great grandchildren; numerous great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; her best friend, Minnie Bryant, Logan, West Virginia; her beloved cat “Tuffy”
Besides her husband of 39 years, Charles Sr., she is preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Morris in 1972, her parents, one son, Dennis “Denny” Morris in 1993; one daughter, Lois J. Beaty in 2010; one sister, Lillian Helms; one brother, Laco Haddix.
