Lois Davies Neillie, 84, of Scottsdale recently passed after a short illness. She was born June 9, 1930 in Youngstown, Ohio to Benjamin and Mary Davies. She attended Boardman High School in Youngstown where she met the love of her life, John Neillie. Lois was married to John (Jack) for 58 years and a part of her has been with him since his passing. His career took them to Cleveland, the Chicago area and eventually the Phoenix area. She worked at a variety of jobs over the years but her greatest accomplishment was being a mother to her children; Nancy Chapman (Jeff), Sallie (Liese) Neillie, Jamie (Les) Nemeth, Andy (Lynn) Neillie, Judy (Leo) Neillie and John E. Neillie. She loved being a grandmother to her seven grandchildren and was very proud of her eight great-grandchildren. Her biggest disappointment in life was not having enough grandchildren! She was an avid reader and an accomplished bacon eater, never missing a chance to enjoy either. She missed Jack horribly and they are now together in heaven.
