Lois Carolyn Thomas, 71, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Wednesday evening, October 9, 2013 at Hamilton Medical Center. Born on August 7, 1942 in Palmer, Tennessee.
Lois enjoyed riding in the mountains and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Aley Turner; brother, Jerry Turner and Oscar Turner Jr; sisters, Opal Pekala, Imogene Cannon, Eloise Tucker and Geraldine Smith.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Richie) Thomas Jr of Dalton; son and daughter in law, Stacy and Lisa Thomas of Dalton; daughter Bunnie Cannon and special friend Jr Sanford of Dalton; the father of her children, James Richard Thomas; brother, Tony Turner of Dalton; grandchildren, Chris Thomas, Valarie Bozarth, Stacy Lee Thomas, Brandon Thomas and Jazzmin Cannon; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
