Lois Ellen Bennett, 69, of Bloomington, passed away on Friday July 13, 2012 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Lois was born October 17, 1942 in Bloomington and was the daughter of Chester Field and Rosey Ann (Reynolds) Horton. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen Woods (Dwayne) of Bloomington, Vicky Bruhn (Don) of Xenia, OH, Lori Ann Meadows (Archie Woods) of Bloomington and one son Douglas Ray Nichols of Texas.
Also surviving is her life companion Charles Capps of Bloomington, grandchildren Travis Goodman, Jeremiah Goodman, Amber Purdum, Tara Meadows, Steven Meadows, Heather Nichols and Doug Nichols, great grandchildren Keena Goodman, Pheonix Purdum, Dresden Purdum, Gabriel Purdum, Xaidian Purdum, Mercedes Goodman, Kyoko Goodman, and Julius Goodman, two sisters, Shirley Sipes and Becky Calabrese (Jeff) , and one brother Chester Dale Horton (Loretta) all of Bloomington, and her very special caregiver Antonette Bowlin, and her precious pet Sky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles Bennett and one sister Mary Louise Lawson.
