Lois B. Kitchell left this earthly realm on July 24, 2014 after a sudden and brief fight with cancer. She was born Lois Lea Bouvier in Rochester NY on April 8, 1937 to George A. Bouvier II and Helen (MacDonald) Bouvier. Lois is survived by her devoted husband, George T. Kitchell of Cañon City; her brother, (George A. Bouvier III of North Hollywood CA); five children (Leigh Turner of White GA, Christopher Kitchell of New Hope PA, Kirk Vandezande of Toronto ON, Lisa Peterson of Fort Collins CO, and Robert Kitchell of Durham NC); eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Lois met and married George in Phoenix, where the couple ran an accounting and tax business together for 10 years before retiring to Colorado.
