Loicy Ralph Smith Sr., 89, East Ridge, died Monday, December 18, 2006, in a local hospital. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Cagle Smith, three brothers, Royce Smith, Ross Smith and Tulin Smith. Survivors are son, Ralph (Sandra) Smith, Ringgold; grandchildren, Eddie Stone and Andrea Krech; great-grandchildren, Garett Stone, Jackson Stone, and Tyler Krech; several nieces an nephews.
