Logan James LeVere

“Another Angel Just Went to Heaven”

Logan James LeVere, age 27, passed away peacefully at his parents home, on July 27, 2016. Logan is survived by his parents, William Paul LeVere and Nancy Jayne (Burns) LeVere, of Liberty, Utah; and his brother, Benjamin Joseph LeVere, of Logan, Utah.

Logan was born on September 30, 1988 in Annapolis, Maryland. Logan attended Jordan Valley School in Sandy, Utah; schools in Twin Falls, Idaho; Rocky Mountain Jr. High; Fremont and Ben Lomond High Schools; and Canyon View School in the Ogden area. He was a resident at Wide Horizons for almost 5 years, and made many friends there before moving into his Chrysalis group home. While Logan was born with many challenges, he always had a unique way of bonding with everyone. His family and friends will always remember him as one of the most loving and gentle souls that they ever met. Logan very much enjoyed living with his group home roommates, John and Jaren. He loved listening to music, dancing, camping with his family, looking at “Logan’s” lights; participating in Special Olympics; watching his favorite TV show, Family Feud; and making one of his favorite toys, Eeyore, say in that classic Eeyore voice: “Good day to you, so nice of you to notice me.” Logan may not have been able to talk, but he always found a way to communicate that would make you smile. He had a great belly laugh.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful people who took care of Logan over the years. A special thank you to everyone at Chrysalis, the special staff at his home and day program, who not only took on his health challenges, but gave him so many great opportunities to get out in the community. Movies, Jazz games, bowling, the circus, Wendover! He had a blast. We can’t thank you enough.
