Lloyd W. Bartrom, 71, Pendleton, passed September 26, 2008 at Miller’s Merry Manor, Huntington after an extended illness.

He was born January 21, 1937 in Huntington, Indiana, and resided in Madison County most of his life. Lloyd served his country in the Army National Guard from 1955-1958. He retired in 1999 from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 35 years of service. Lloyd was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association was a member of ths Moose Lodge and Quarter Horse Association.

He is survived by his children, Michael Sherri Bartrom of Marion, Teresa Steve Pruitt of North Platte, Nebraska, Frederick Patricia Bartrom of Nashville, Peter Bartrom of Pendleton, Anne David Vaught of Warren and Gregory Kim Bartrom of Middletown; siblings, Frederick “Gene” Barbara Bartrom, Jack Kay Bartrom, Linda Bartrom and Sue Steve Hubbart; grandchildren, Melissa Evan Hammond of Gas City, Daniel Bartrom of Lafayette, Brandon Bartrom and Christin Bartrom of Nashville, Justin Johnson and Jeremy Johnson of Anderson, Sarena Bartrom of Pendleton, Sarah Vaught of Warren and Taylor Bartrom and Marley Bartrom of Middletown.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Edward Bartrom and Harold Bartrom; sister-in-law, Marigold Bartrom and parents, Frederick & Clara Divelbis Bartrom.
