Lloyd Slade, of New Britain, departed this life on Saturday, October 2nd at Yale-New Haven Hospital. Born on February 2, 1947, he was the son of Verneice (Simpson) Slade of VA and the late John F. Slade. Besides his mother, he is survived by five children, three brothers, and five sisters. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Slade and his sister, Mary Slade.
