Lloyd Gerald Anderson Sr. “Bud”, 81, of Terre Haute, passed away August 13, 2015 in his home with his loving family by his side. He was born February 20, 1934 to Lloyd Listen Anderson and Edna (Powell) Ferguson. Bud served in the United States Marine Corps from July 1952 to 1955. He was a member of American Legion Post #104. He was the chief of the Burnett Fire Department in the early 1970’s. He retired from the Vigo County School Corporation and Alcan. His passion was flying. Bud was a private pilot and at one point built his own plane. He was a member of the Ultra Light Club. Bud is survived by his wife of 59 years Helen (Kelso) Anderson; children Lloyd G Anderson Jr. (Dee Dee), Virginia (Anderson) Czachur (Jim), Martha (Anderson)Poff (Bill), and Charles Anderson; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Edgar Listen, Virginia Salmon, and Phyllis Howard.
