Lloyd “Dick” Ishmael, 81, of Flemingsburg, KY passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the Fleming County Hospital.

Dick was born, March 4, 1932 in Tilton, KY to the late Arthur Ishmael and Emma Stephens Ishmael. In addition to his parents. Dick was preceded in death by his wife, Fumiko “Toni” Ishmael, a son, Gary Ishmael, daughter-in-law, Lynn Ishmael, special friend, Molly Bacot, two sisters, Annalee Boling, Hazel Ishmael, and five brothers, Curtis Ishmael, Otis Ishmael, Andy Ishmael, Brooks Ishmael, and Wood Ishmael.

Dick served in the US Army for about 8 years as a Staff SGT during the Korean War.

Dick was a member of the American Legion. He was a huge sports fan and very active in volunteering with coaching Little League Baseball and Football. He also umpired baseball games for several years.

Survivors include two sons, Bill Ishmael and Michael Ishmael of Flemingsburg , daughter, Nancy (Tony) Gregory of Casper, Wyoming, daughter-in-law, Linda Ishmael of Flemingsburg, and sister, Ruby (Eldwood) McKee of Wallingford. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, Kristina Ishmael, Christopher Ishmael, Randy (Tosha) Ishmael, Sean Ishmael, Joe Allen (Sheena) Ishmael, Kimberly Ishmael, Jeremy Taylor, Juli Taylor, Ashley Ishmael, and Tori Ishmael and one great grandchild Mackayla Hollar.
