Lisa Eberhardt (Foster), 63, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, after a long battle with multiple health issues at UC Health Hospital in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
Lisa was born on April 18, 1958, in Los Angeles, California and moved to Colorado in 1970 with her family. Lisa graduated from Douglas County High School in 1976. She then went on to study at The Art Institute of Colorado.
Lisa loved children and worked as a paraprofessional at Walt Whitman Elementary School, where she was known as “Mrs. Abracadabra-Hardt” because, like magic, she could make anyone’s day better. Lisa was extremely caring, and saw the best in everyone–especially the troublemakers, who simply needed someone to listen. She had the gift of helping people feel understood and accepted as they are.
Lisa was an accomplished artist who loved painting. She could transform bedrooms into magical gardens, underwater seascapes, and jungle adventures. She knew how to use color and imagery to create peaceful and calm environments in her home and those of others. In her free time Lisa enjoyed interior design, hunting for antiques, jewelry making, and refurbishing old furniture.
