Lisa K. Cornell, 47, of Battle Ground, went to her heavenly home, on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born September 3, 1974, in Lafayette to Charles and Linda (Fife) Scowden. She was a 1992 graduate of William Henry Harrison High School and worked as a Pre-School Teacher for Battle Ground United Methodist Church and for STEAM Academy. She married her best friend Adam T. Cornell on November 3, 2017, in Lafayette, and he survives.
Lisa’s passion in life was educating children, she took great pride in her role as a Pre-School Teacher, where she enjoyed developing her own curriculum.
Along with her husband Adam, Lisa is survived by her 2 son’s, Trenton and Walker Andrews; her mother and step-father, Linda (Ron) Hancock of Lafayette; brothers, Brett Scowden and Brad Hancock. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Scowden and two children lost during pregnancy.
