ARSENAULT – Lionel Joseph Arsenault age,75, of Seymour entered into rest on Tuesday, May 2, 2006 in Griffin Hospital, Derby with his loving family by his side. Born in Bridgeport he was the son of the late Leo & Ella (Gallant) Arsenault & an area resident most of his life. Lionel was a U.S. Army veteran doing two tours of duty during WW II being stationed in Germany, a U.S. Navy veteran doing two tours of duty during the Cuban Missille Crisis aboard the USS Proteus & also served 20 years in the U.S. Reserves. He was retired from the United Illuminating Co. workimg in Bpt. for 25 years as a boiler operator & returned to the UI Co. a year later in the maintainance Dept. in the Shelton office. Lionel was a motorcycle enthusiast & loved playing & listening to music, especially country & western music. Survivors include his beloved family, exwife & best friend Eileen Mary Dolan, daughters Elaine Mary Dolan Arsenault, Anne Marie Nehez & husband Charles & granddaughters Caitlyn Anne Dolan Zawadski & Rhiannon Marie Nehez all of Milford, brothers Arthur Arsenault of Milford & Walter Arsenault of Bpt., Sisters Doris Moretti of Milford & Lorraine Ciotti & husband Tito of Monroe, several nieces & nephews & his caring in laws the Dolan Family.
