Linda Joyce Vander Horst was born March 24, 1948, to John and Roena Margaret (Elwood) Breuklander, in Iowa City, Iowa.
Linda grew up in Pella and attended Lincoln Elementary School, Webster Junior High, and Pella Community High School.
On December 14, 1963, Linda was united in marriage to Willis “Willy” Vander Horst in Rock Island, Illinois. To this union they were blessed with three sons: Rick, Dave and Dennis. Linda worked for Central College for 26 years and also co-owned and operated Willy’s Auto.
