Linda “Susie” Alexander, 53 years, of Virginia, IL died Tuesday morning, May 30, 2006 at her residence.
She was born March 17, 1953 in Springfield, IL; the daughter of Alvin and Dorothy Maddox Cave. She married Bobby G. Alexander on March 17, 1984 in Ashland, IL and he survives.
She is also survived by a son, Chris Cave (wife, Shaun) of Springfield; a daughter, Bobbi Alexander of Virginia; two grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Cave (wife, Lisa) of Ashland, Ronnie Cave (wife, Melody) of Ashland, and George Cave (wife, Cindi) of Ashland; three sisters, Mickey Anderson (husband, Scott) of Ashland, Helen Bernice Robinson (husband, David) of Springfield, and Judy Subu (husband, John) of Sarasota, FL; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mrs. Alexander was formerly employed as a nurse aide in several Springfield area nursing homes and also as a bartender in Ashland, Virginia, and Springfield.
