Linda Shimae (Shiozawa) Chelf, age 83, of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2013.  She was born in Sagamihara, Japan, on January 1, 1930, to Gisuke Shiozawa and Tai (Aoki) Shiozawa.

She graduated from Igawa Dressmaker School in Tokyo in 1947.

Linda was married to George Chelf on April 6, 1959.  They were married for 44 years.

Linda owned Fuji Alteration and Tailoring in Fort Walton Beach for many years.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, parents, her sisters Fumiko Shiozawa and Toki Susaki, and her brothers Taizo Shiozawa, Kiyoshi Shiozawa and Shozo Shiozawa.

Linda is survived by her son, Victor Chelf and wife Diana from Houston, Texas; her daughter, Nancy Chelf Lewis from Navarre, Florida; her son-in-law, John Lewis from Fort Walton Beach; her grandchildren Rochele Hullinger Smith and husband Taylor from Navarre, Jeffrey Hullinger from Fort Walton Beach, Danielle Lewis from Navarre; and Matthew Chelf from Houston; her sister Tamae Yasuda from Kawasaki, Japan; her sister Fukue Ishizaki from Sagamihara, Japan; and her brother Kazuyoshi Shiozawa from Hachioji, Japan.
