Linda (Bonanno) Slavin 90, of Leominster passed away February 9, 2013 in Manchester Memorial Hospital, in CT. She was born on June 25, 1922. She is survived by her daughter Madeline Bonanno, her granddaughter Christina Carrington and her husband John and her great-grandchildren Bethany and Daniel. She was predeceased by her husband George H. Salvin. Linda was an avid volunteer with the town of Leominster. She enjoyed painting, needle point. She was highly involved with the Leominster Art Association, Sholan Farms, and the AMVets in Fitchburg. She spent the last of her years in CT enjoying her great-grandchildren. She was laid to rest on February 13, 2013 at Evergreen Cemetery next to her husband.
