Linda Marie Osborn, 72, of rural Newton, died on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at the Comfort House in Pella.
Linda, the daughter of Harold and Velma (Longren) Engle, was born on May 22, 1947 in Newton. She grew up in the Monroe and Baxter areas; graduating from Baxter High School in 1965.
Linda is survived by her husband, Stanley Osborn of rural Newton; daughters, Teresa (Charles) Conner of Des Moines and Shari (Anthony) Winzer of Newton; grandchildren, Shea (Krys) Conner, Jasmine (Cass) Dickerson, Brooke Healey, Chase Healey, and Quade James; great-grandson, Lincoln; a great-granddaughter, Nevaeh, on the way; her siblings, Cathy (Craig) Presnall of Ankeny, John (Diane) Engle of Baxter, Dave (Michelle) Engle of Baxter, and Billie Jo Vansice of Baxter; and her many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
