Linda M. (Maze) Vermeulen, 74, died Friday Nov. 28, 2014 in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Franklin.
Linda was born May 9, 1940, in Connersville to the late Lawrence and Elsie (Robinson) Maze.
She graduated from Alquina High School in Connersville, class of 1958. Linda married David Vermeulen on July 27, 1963, in Connersville; they were married for 51 years. She was employed at Bucyrus-Erie Company in Richmond, Central State Bank in Connersville then at the United States Postal Service in Whiteland, where she had various positions, retiring in 2004 after 23 years of service. She loved family gatherings and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She was a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Survivors include her husband, David Vermeulen of Franklin, four children, John Vermeulen of Indianapolis, Eric (Andrea) Vermeulen of Brownsburg, Brian (Rebecca) Vermeulen of Calif., and Aaron (Brandy) Vermeulen of Whiteland, a brother, Lowell Maze of Brownsville, and seven grandchildren, Mali, Jake, Kali, Griffin, Riley, Ellie and Owen.
