Linda Louise Hudacsko

Bridgewater – Linda Louise Hudacsko, 75 (but always 29 at heart), died peacefully on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at home with her family by her side. Daughter of the late Peter and Perry Pernice, Linda was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and raised in East Brunswick.  Linda earned her bachelor’s degree in education at Monmouth University, graduating in 1969. After getting married to Bob in 1971, spent a brief time in each Des Moines, Iowa and Chicago, Illinois then moved to Bridgewater, New Jersey in 1976. Linda was a first grade teacher for Hamilton Elementary School, retiring in 2009. She dedicated over 25 years of her life to keeping our youth engaged and excited in learning, leaving her loving impact on hundreds within our community.  In her early years, she was a Girl Scout Leader, tennis player, and active volunteer in many organizations.

Linda always put others first and will be remembered for kindness and willingness to help. Linda’s zest for life kept her active with her family, skiing, pickle ball and traveling the world. She spent time between her homes in Bridgewater, North Beach Haven, Jackson Hole and New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Linda made many wonderful friends over the years through her various activities and travels. One of her personal favorites was golf, she played in several leagues in the area and was a member of the Sugar Mill Country Club in New Smyrna Beach.  She loved nothing more than a great happy hour with friends and family at the beach house on LBI. Her time, energy and love always remained focused on being an amazing wife, sister, Mom and of course Mimi.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert Hudacsko; children, Michelle Baxter, and husband, Duke of Bridgewater, Michael Hudacsko and wife, Lydia of Victor, Idaho, David Hudacsko, and wife Kate of Victor, Idaho; grand children , Madelyn, Matthew, Brady, Tyler, Neve, Rose, Owen, and Kira. She is also survived by her two siblings, Peter Pernice and wife, Lynne, Diane Shelcusky and husband, Dave.
