Linda Lou Hayne 73, of Waukee, Iowa and formally of Iowa Falls, passed away Friday, May 27, 2022, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center Des Moines, Iowa.

Linda Lou Highley was born June 14, 1948 to Franklin Arledge and Betty Lucille (Foust) Highley in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Linda graduated with the Iowa Falls class of 1966.  After living in Florida in 1973, she settled in the Minneapolis area in 1974. Linda enjoyed being a home maker while her boys were growing up. She worked as a bank teller in the area for many years. In 2005, she moved to Waukee to be closer to her parents; she worked for Hy-Vee in their pharmacy from that time until her passing. She loved her co-workers and spoke of them often. Linda was a proud and loving mother and grandma. She enjoyed thrift store trading and buying and selling treasures. She was a life long fan of the show Young and the Restless. She was an amateur detective, serious astrologist and professional hand dancer.

Linda is survived by her sons: Timothy (Julia) Smith of Bloomington, Minnesota; Jon (Miranda) Hayne of Elk River, Minnesota; Christopher (Rebecca) Hayne of Robbinsdale, Minnesota; Mark (Erin) Hayne of Maple Grove, Minnesota: grandchildren Ben, Katie, Matthew, Blake, Chase, Jack, Wesley and William ; two sisters: Helen (Randy) Mickelson of Austin, Minnesota, Debbie (Don) Kemp of Urbandale, Iowa ; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother in law Jeffery Eaton.
