Linda Lofgreen

Linda Lofgreen, age 71, passed away February 18, 2014. She has closed the chapter of her earthly life and has begun a new and everlasting chapter.

Linda was born May 24, 1942 in Ogden, Utah, the first child of Morrill Lofgreen and Melba Richardson Lofgreen.

Linda graduated from Ben Lomond High School in 1960. She worked for S&H Green Stamps for 14 years. She was the librarian for 36 years at Bonneville Elementary School in Ogden. She retired in May 2012. Linda was awarded the Ogden District’s Focus on Excellence Award in October 1995. Linda shared her love and passion for books with hundreds of children.

Linda is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in the Junior Sunday School, Primary and was Stake Librarian. She was the secretary to the Special Interest Tri-Valley Choir for 22 years.

Linda enjoyed needle work, crocheting, knitting, crafts and, of course, reading a good book.

Linda is survived by her brother, Louis (Linda) Lofgreen of Sandy and her sister, Kathy (Lester) Talbot of Roy. She is the loving aunt to four nephews and their families. She is also survived by close and special cousins.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents; a nephew; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A joyous reunion is taking place.

The family would like to thank Advocate Hospice (especially Misty, Ellie and Mike) and Lotus Park Assisted Living Staff for their loving care and support.
