Linda Leazer Sheets, 68, of Statesville, went into the loving arms of Jesus, her Lord and Savior, on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.
Born May 10, 1943 in Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Helen Johnson Leazer.
She was a member of Ostwalt Baptist Church and was retired from Thomasville Upholstery. Linda loved NASCAR racing and loved her family and church dearly. Her daily companions were her two dogs, Shorty and Rowdy.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Spencer Sheets, of the home; two daughters, Rebecca (Gary) Lamberth of Troutman and Beverly (Larry) Woods of Myrtle Beach, SC; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Louise (Bill) Riddell and a brother, Leonard Leazer, Jr., both of Colorado Springs, CO.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Briana Shea Steele.
