Linda Kay Tubbs, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 6th; she was surrounded by her family as she peacefully went home.
She was born May 21, 1954 to Dutch and Betty Hammond. She met the love of her life and married, Terry Tubbs, June 16, 1973.
Linda Enjoyed the mountains and her grandkids. She was an influence to many kids in this town. She was a Basketball Score Keeper for 60 years. She loved Halloween and handing out candy to kids in the neighborhood. Catering food for events, her dogs, going to her property in divide, feeding the deer, fishing, camping, hauling kids to basketball games were her favorite times, other than spending the 4th of July with all of her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dutch and Betty Hammond. She is survived by her husband, Terry Tubbs, of 48 years; two sons, Brandon Tubbs and Chad Tubbs and his wife, Darla; and her beloved grandchildren, Tia, Brandon II, Kaley, Kaden, Elway, Andru and Bryce.
She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
