Linda Kay Naramore Carr, age 79 of Fraley Road, Salt Lick, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at St. Claire Health Care in Morehead.

 

Born October 12, 1942, in Battle Creek, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Gerold “Jerry” and Dorthy Libey Naramore.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and Richard Wightman, and her beautiful great granddaughter, Madisyn Ismaelah Meeks.

 

Linda is survived by three children, Lisa K. Carr Sides (Glenn) of Mattawan, Michigan, David J. Carr of Morehead, and Mark G. Carr of Salt Lick; two step children, Jim Kuszmaul of Illinois, and Katherine Carr Gothard of Detroit, Michigan; 16 grandchildren, Heather, Nicholas, Garrett, Dylan, Cooper, Harley, Brianah, Trever, Chad, Shelly, Dustin, Penny, Bethany, Kristina, Cassondra, and Mykayla; 18 great grandchildren, Guage, Hunter J., Hayes, Hunter Raymond,  CJ, Neveah, Henry, Benjamin, Maverick who will make his appearance in January, Jon, Nicholas, Marie, Taylor, Tori, Timber, Hunter R., Carressa, and Rylah; a former daughter-in-law, Marsha Carr of Morehead; and a niece, Laura Creager of Indiana.

 

She spent the last 15 years of her life living in Morehead and previously lived in Paw Paw, Michigan.  She was a graduate of Ashland Community College and a former employee at Apollo Satellite Company in Paw Paw, Michigan.  She also worked at a bowling alley and pizza parlor in Michigan.

 

Linda loved her family, especially her grandchildren, whether by blood or by marriage she loved them the same.  She enjoyed bowling for many years while living in Michigan.
