On March 18th, 2013 Linda Kay Aunspaugh joined our Father in Heaven. Linda was a loving sister, mom and grandma.
Linda was born on August 20, 1950 to parents, John and Betty Aunspaugh in Kansas City, KS. Linda and her two older sister’s Connie Rea (Aunspaugh) and Diane Ziebarth (Aunspaugh) lived in Kansas with her parents until her mother Betty brought the girls to Colorado following her divorce. Betty then married Kenneth Eversman Egelhoff and their family grew with the addition of sister’s Beverly Egelhoff (Ritter), Barbara Egelhoff (Carmaine), Becky Egelhoff (Thompson) and brothers Kenton Egelhoff and Kraton Egelhoff.
Linda was close to her parents and as a single parent was glad to have their support. As a single mom to son Tommy Aunspaugh and daughter Melissa Kinzie (Aunspaugh) Linda worked very hard to give her children all she could. Linda’s greatest gift to her children was her love. Her belief that love was absolute, was something she showed to her kids everyday. Her faith that with love for God, family and friends all would be taken care of. Linda struggled financially and physically while working long hours at a luggage factory in Denver however she did so with no complaints. She gave of herself daily to ensure that those around her only knew of her love for them and not of her difficulties.
Linda’s capacity for love is the legacy she has passed on to her family and friends. She is survived by all of her siblings her, children Tommy and Melissa and grandchildren, Justina, Tiernie, Preslie and Jalette. Linda will be missed immensely and loved forever.
