Linda Jean Hodge

Long time Vail Valley resident Linda Jean (Bryant) Hodge peacefully passed away in her sleep at the age of 67 on January 13, 2016 at her home in Grand Junction, Colorado. She was born July 21, 1948 in Jay, Maine and grew up in Winthrop, Maine.
Linda started her career as a ski instructor at Loon Mountain in Lincoln, New Hampshire and after moving to Vail, Colorado in 1978, continued to teach skiing for many years. She also operated a property management business in the area. Linda loved the beauty of the Colorado Mountains and was an avid outdoors woman who enjoyed hiking, biking and camping. She was also a passionate tennis player and fierce competitor, participating in a weekly ladies tennis leagues. Even when she could no longer play tennis herself, Linda still followed all the major tennis tournaments and players religiously.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Norman Bryant, and mother, Beryl Bryant. Linda is survived by her son Christopher Wright, her brother Gerry Bryant, and her grandson Brody Wright.
