Linda Jean Causey, 76, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully Nov.29, 2016 at Hopewest Hospice in Grand Junction Co., with her daughter Kimberly by her side. She was listening to Jazz music, dreaming of her beloved Bill and waiting for him to arrive in his little red sports car to whisk her to the dance. (“Fly Me to the Moon” by Diana Krall)
Born to; Fredrick Reggentine and Magdelene Schild March 20, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois. She married her soul mate William Allen Causey April 5, 1958. They had a wonderfully happy marriage and even worked in law enforcement together during the late sixties in the suburbs of Chicago. Bill was the police chief; Linda was a police matron, and dispatcher. She was so proud. Linda enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, making jewelry, and watching classic movies and the Andy Griffith Show. She also loved sports, the Denver Broncos and The Chicago Cubs. She was so thrilled when they won the World Series! She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her sisters; Doris and Sandra. Her children ; Steven, Kimberly, Anna, and James. Her grand-children; Nicholas, Christopher, Cheyanne , Brandon, Liam and Ellie. Her great grand-children; Londyn, Maddison, Paytin, Dani, Bailey and Lexi.
