Linda Jane Scott of Heber Springs passed away at the age of 77 on October 1st at Baptist Health Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Linda is survived by her husband of 60 years, Burna Lee “B.L.” Scott; one daughter, Teresa Logue (Johnny) of Gainesville, Texas; one son, David Scott of Heber Springs; four grandchildren, David Scott Jr. of Sherwood, Victoria Hennessey (Daniel) of Fayetteville, Zachary Pruitt of Russellville and Ryan Logue of Gainesville, Texas; one great-granddaughter, Lynlee Hennessey of Fayetteville; one great-granddog, Stella, among many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Franklin and Lula Mae Williams of Quitman and three siblings, Eva Jo Daves, Richard “Sonny” Williams and Patsy Lou Schlager.
She was born on October 1, 1938 in Quitman, Arkansas. She attended high school in Quitman until she met and married B.L. in 1954. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Her many talents included cooking, oil painting, decorating and playing music. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends throughout the years at her homes in Bridgeport, Texas, North Little Rock and Heber Springs, Arkansas.
She was a member of Friendship Community Church in Ida, Arkansas, where she found a community of friends whom she shared her love for Christ.
