Linda F. Knight, age 80 of Englewood, Colorado died on April 14, 2021.  She was born in Boston, Massachusetts in 1940 and had fond memories of her carefree childhood. Linda graduated from St. Peter’s High School in New Brunswick, New Jersey and attended University of Denver.  Linda married Roger D. Knight and together they raised three children: Andrew, Matthew and Sarah.  She spent her career working in various law enforcement positions including as a Loss Prevention Specialist and as a Deputy Sheriff with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.  After retiring, Linda was a Davis Scholar at Wellesley College and graduated with a B.A. in Medieval Studies.  She was an avid stamp collector and played in various softball and volleyball leagues in her younger years.  She enjoyed listening to classical music, playing Mahjong, attending classes at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) and going to various destinations organized by Road Scholar.  Linda was a long-time Denver Broncos football fan and even participated in fantasy football leagues in her later years. She was a voracious reader of mysteries and built up an enviable collection of books with a focus on biographies and history.  Linda is preceded in death by her husband Roger and is survived by her children Andy Knight (Cindy) of Parker, CO, Matt Knight of Aurora, CO, Sarah Knight of Highlands Ranch, CO and granddaughters Hailey Knight of Denver, CO and Katelyn Knight of Parker, CO.
