Linda Brewer, 61 Died October 22 after a battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She graduated from Scottsbluff High School in 1969. Shortly after she moved to Colorado, she began to spread her wings as she took many trips with her girlfriends to see the country.

After settling down, Linda worked multiple jobs for the majority of her life. She spent many years as a sales clerk for Wagner Equipment Co. She served as a waitress for multiple restaurants, namely the Pepper Pod. Everywhere she went, she made many long lasting relationships. She had a unique ability to make every person she met feel like they were special. It seemed every customer was her favorite. Linda spent the last five years of her life driving for school district RE3J. She loved driving the school bus and loved the relationships she developed with the kids she drove.

Regardless of what job she was doing, her family was her passion. She worked her whole life to provide a life for her children that she never had. She always made her family her top priority, never missing a game. She enjoyed attending multiple sporting events for her boys. For those of us who knew her, she was the fiercest of fans. Very vocal, everyone in the gym knew exactly where her loyalty lied.

For the last many years, Linda lived for her babies. Myron and Tommy were her first grandsons. She was so proud to add two more boys to her family. When Camryn was born she jokingly asked, “what am I going to do with girl?”. Since then Camryn was always referred to as ‘My Baby Girl’. Soon followed two more, twins! Nicholas better known as ‘Jr. Baby’ and Lauryn ‘Boo Boo’. They all developed a special bond with their Grandma Linda. Linda was able to spend three days a week, between bus routes caring for her babies. Linda gave a one kind, unconditional love that was impossible to duplicate. The pain of not having Linda in their lives will be immense. Her babies will greatly miss her!

Outside of her family, Linda enjoyed slowing life down with a drink and good conversation. Some of her favorite times were spent driving back country roads with Garry Johnson.

Sunday’s were a special day for Linda. Sunday dinners were a time to gather as a family and enjoy a home cooked meal. Linda could gather a crowd with the promise of a good meal to feed a small army. Needless to say, no one ever went hungry. During these dinners it never seemed as though Linda ever sat down. She always made sure her family had everything they needed.

Linda is survived by her loving family and many friends. She will be greatly missed and never forgotten!
