Linda Averill, age 53, of West Haven died Thursday June 16, 2011 after a two year battle with lung cancer. She was the wife of Richard J. Averill. Daughter of the late Ernest and Patricia Matera Cipolli Sr. Sister of Ernest (Karen) Cipolli Jr. She is also survived by her in-laws Richard and Loretta Averill, brothers-in-law Timothy (Janice) Averill, Robert (Pamela) Averill, her sister-in-law Valerie Averill, nieces and nephews Katie, Ernie III & John Cipolli, Vanessa Caruso, Jessica Hines, Kristin, Robert, Natalie, Thomas & John Averill, special friends Nancy (Poopster), Eileen, Debbie, Renee, Jan, Lorraine, Cathy, Holly, Diane and many other family & friends too numerous to mention and her “babies” Ozzie & Lilly. At the time of her death, she was employed as an eye care technician for Eye Care Physicians & Surgeons. Always the life of the party, she brought laughter and stories where ever she went.
