Linda C. Emerick, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, age 65, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014 in her home, following a long illness.
She was born on May 24, 1949 to the late Cloyd and Virginia (Nelson) Saunders in Logansport, IN, and has been a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Emerick retired in 2004 from Bosch, where she worked as an Executive Secretary for 20 years.
On February 8, 1969, as Linda C. Saunders she married James L. Emerick in South Bend, IN.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, James, of Mishawaka, IN; daughter, Natalie Eminger of Mishawaka, IN; son, Shawn (Gregg-Marie) Emerick of Granger, IN; three grandchildren, Miranda Eminger; Steve Emerick, Rachel Emerick; two sisters, Karen (Dale) Rieder of Niles, MI; Debbie (Steve) Nimtz of Memphis, TN; and one brother, Chuck (Ellie) Saunders of Nashville, TN.
Linda enjoyed gardening, spending time with her family, and loved her pets.
