Linda Jeanne BennettAge 67 of Corunna passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at the Durand Lodges.Linda was born May 29, 1955 in Dearborn, the daughter of Delbert and Margaret (Ottenbaker) Alexander. Linda enjoyed visiting the family cottage during the summers as a child, reading, and spending time with her family. She graduated with degrees from Michigan State and Syracuse University. Linda was a loving, supportive mother. In recent years, she enjoyed visits with her grandchildren.Linda is survived by her son, Jonathon (Courtney) Bennett; grandchildren, Jackson and Emersyn Bennett, Mother, Margaret Alexander; Brother, Robert (Debbie) Alexander; Nephew, Benjamin Alexander, Niece, Anna (Erwin) and their son David.She was predeceased by her Father, Delbert Alexander.Funeral services will be held 4pm Sunday August 28, 2022 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Marlene Webster officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3pm till the time of service.In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are suggested to the National MS Society and Shiawassee Council on Aging as Linda courageously battled MS for 40 years.Online condolences may be sent to the family at Nelson-House.com.
