Those left to honor Linda’s memory include her daughter, Melody A. Novak of Newton; mother, Dolores Schwebel of Jacksonville, Florida; and her brother, Hank Schwebel of Jacksonville, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry J. Schwebel.
Linda was a graduate of Niles West High School in Niles, Illinois. She had been a Drafting Tech. for 7 years at A T & T, before retiring in 2005.
Linda enjoyed working in her yard, gardening, reading, jewelry and her pets.
Linda grew up in and had lived in the Chicago, Illinois area most of her life. She had lived in St. Charles, Illinois for 3 years prior to moving to Newton, Iowa in 2005.
