Lillie May Craig, of Canon City, was called home by the Lord on March 17, 2015. She was 86. Lillie May was born May 4, 1928 in Canon City, CO to Tom and Ida Land. She was a lifelong resident of Canon City. She attended the old Washington elementary, Roosevelt Junior High, and the old Canon City High School, where she met her future husband, Harold Lee Craig. After World War II, Lillie May married her childhood sweetheart, Harold in 1946. Before her retirement, Lillie May sold Avon, earning awards for her outstanding sales. She also worked for longtime Canon City physician, Dr. Jack Hurliman.
