Lillie Mae Hawks, age 97, of Cassopolis, died peacefully Monday, August 3, 2015 in her residence.She was born January 28, 1918 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. She married Delbert Hawks April 23, 1957 in South Bend, Indiana. He preceded her in death.
She was also preceded by her parents; one great great grandson; one brother, Raymond Smith; and one step son, Delbert Hawks, Jr. Lillie loved to clean. Her passion was her house. The children would tease that she loved to chase dust bunnies. Lillie will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Lou White of Detroit, Michigan, and Karen Hawks of Cassopolis; one son, Victor Hawks of Elkhart; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and two great great great grandchildren.
