Lillian Mae (Bragge) Ziebarth, 82, passed away on February 11, 2022, in Littleton, Colorado, where she and her husband, Dr. Harold (Zeke) Ziebarth resided for over 50 years.

Lillian was born in Des Moines, Iowa and grew up in Carlton, Minnesota. She graduated from Carlton High School and in 1960, she married Harold, her high school sweetheart. She helped her husband through college at the University of North Dakota where he achieved his PHD, and they eventually settled in Littleton to raise their family of four children. For the past 2 ½ years, Lillian and Harold have enjoyed dividing their time between Colorado and Holiday, Florida.

Lillian was an avid volunteer, often calling herself a “Professional Volunteer” when asked what she did for a living. She was an adult member of Girl Scouting for over 50 years and she was awarded one of the highest honors an adult member of Girl Scouts can receive – the Thanks Badge. She was a Girl Scout troop leader for all three of her daughters. She loved to sing and loved to teach large groups new songs. To this day there are many people who only knew her by her Girl Scout camp name, “Zing”.

In addition to Girl Scouting, Lillian loved to make crafts and she devoted many years to teaching crafts to a group of seniors at Bradley House in Littleton. The money earned from their craft sales helped to support the Meals on Wheels kitchen based at Bradley House.

Lillian was also a bowler and loved to watch bowling when she could no longer participate. She was an avid hockey fan and closely followed the Colorado Avalanche. Her shouts of “whoopee!” when the home team scored will be missed! She loved to travel whenever the opportunity arose, and she enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow into the amazing adults they were destined to become. She had a full and rewarding life.

She leaves behind her husband, Harold Ziebarth, four children, Lucie Stanish (Mark), Gayle Corwin (Steve), Jeff Ziebarth (Dorothy), Sandy Byron, and five grandchildren, Cameron Blazek, Kyle Stanish, Kimberly Stanish, Scott Corwin, and Samantha Corwin. She also leaves behind all five of her siblings, Helen Holsworth, MaryEllen Nicholson, James Bragge, Joann MIska and Robert Bragge.
