Lillian was employed for many years at Humphrey Products. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Joseph Cowgill and Louie Smith; three siblings, John, Richard and Mareta Zimmick; a son-in-law, Randy Schmidt and a grandson, Joshua Schmidt.
Surviving are a daughter, Sue Schmidt of Galesburg; two grandchildren, Kari and Kyle Schmidt; two great-grandchildren, Abigail and Benjamin Schmidt; several nieces and a cousin, Arlene Watermann.
