Lillian Michele DeFiore Fanelli died peacefully on October 23, 2017 at age 102, the last of her generation. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Lillian lived in Valley Stream, NY before moving to Lakewood in 1980. She will be well remembered by family and friends for her delicious Italian cooking.
Lillian was predeceased by her parents, Paolo and Caterina DeFiore, her 16 brothers and sisters and her beloved husband, William. She is survived by her daughters, Michele with husband Anthony Carillo of Toms River and Annette with husband William Gibson of Melbourne, FL; her grandchildren David (Ellen) Carillo, Celene Carillo, Matthew (Elizabeth) Carillo, Darren (Leah) Gibson, Ryan Gibson, William (Andreina) Gibson and her great grandchildren Avi and Harris Carillo, Benjamin and Elizabeth Gibson and William Charles Gibson IV. She is also survived by her dear friend Vito Muraglia of Leisure Park.
