On Friday, March 4, 2022 my mother, Lillian Alessi, was peacefully reunited with my Dad 10 years after his passing. She lived a long, joyous, beautiful life for 95.5 years. I’m extremely grateful that I have spent the last 10 years with her. My children and I did everything we could to take care of her as she struggled with dementia especially towards the end. Mom was my best friend, my confident, my shopping buddy, my everything. She taught me unconditional love. I made her waffles with fresh fruit almost every morning. She loved to play dominos, video poker, and enjoyed our trips to Disney and Vegas. She was a devoted catholic that lived a wholesome old fashion lifestyle.
She was kind, sweet, and loved life. She was loved by all and will be missed by those blessed enough to have met her. She is survived by her daughter Jane Alessi Bunch, and grandchildren Jamie Nicole Bunch and Shawn Grady Bunch. She also has a deceased son James Nick Alessi and a deceased husband Carmen L Alessi. Her family was filled with lots of love and joy. She was 95 1/2 and still lived like there was no tomorrow.
