Lillian B. Brooks Lillian (Bernstein) Brooks, 96 of The Gardens, Danbury, formerly of Tamarac, FL, died on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Glen Hill Care and Rehabilitation Center, Danbury. She was the wife of the late Raymond Brooks and mother of Roger Brooks. Mrs. Brooks was born in Bridgeport, CT, May 15, 1916, daughter of the late Harry and Belle (Frank) Bernstein. She attended Bridgeport schools and graduated from Central High School, Bridgeport. A former retired bookkeeper, Mrs. Brooks was a homemaker in recent years and a resident of Danbury for the past seven years coming from Florida. In addition to her son Roger and his wife Sheila, Mrs. Brooks is survived by an additional son, Paul Brooks and his wife, Laurie; three grandchildren, Michael, Holly and Jessica and three great grandchildren, Hannah, James and Nathan. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Brooks was predeceased by a great grandson, David Brooks.
